What if my policy is not up for renewal yet?
You do not need to wait for policy renewal to look at other insurance options or to make a switch. You will receive a refund of any monies due to you when you make a switch.

Agent and/or Carrier Concerns
I am with an agent that I have been with for a long time.
If the agent you are working with is providing fantastic service, has explained all the coverage options out there, is able to access multiple carriers to ensure the best fit, and continues to review and check your placement, we would see no reason to make a change in agent. However, if your current agent is not providing all of those things, we would love the opportunity to do so.
I have been with the same carrier for ages. Don’t I get a benefit for it?
Yes, but you will also recieve a benefit from a new carrier. If you have been with a carrier for a long time, many times we see that you are no longer with the right fit and we are able to offer significant savings. Most companies value loyalty, so they take into consideration the length of time you have been with another carrier. You will see that in the premium offered to you by the new carrier.
I like my agent and I don’t want to leave them, but I am not sure I am getting a good price.
It is in your best interest to see what options are available to you, so you can make an informed decision. As an independent agent with so many different carrier options, we usually find a much better fit which results in terrific savings. Unfortunately for the agent, sometimes they simply will not have the best option to present to you. If you are currently with a “captive” agent, one that represents only one carrier, CDK will usually be able to offer an option that the other agent simply cannot offer. It would not be right for an agent to get mad at you for doing what is in your best interest. There are good agents out there that will understand they don’t have the best option for you.

CDK utilizes an application which provides the rates from multiple carriers. Since we are not tied to just one carrier, we are able to see which carrier is offering the right package at the right price to meet your needs.
What information do you need to do a quote?
CDK Agency would want to review your existing policies by looking at the policy declaration pages. With your existing policies, all drivers' social security numbers, dates of birth, highest levels of education, and driver’s license numbers, we can get a very accurate quote. We will need additional information to finalize the quote, but those items will get us most of the way there.
What are the steps in the process?
First, we compare your current coverages to what the marketplace would charge for that coverage. We refer to
that as finding the best carrier fit or match. After we find the best carrier fit, we will review the coverages line by line to make sure the coverage you have is the coverage you want going forward. Finally, now that we have you
with the right carrier with your desired coverages, we issue the new policy. Upon renewal, we will go through the same process to make sure you remain with the right carrier and that you have the right coverages.
